I am shocked why this restaurant doesn’t have a Michelin star yet. We had one of the best meals ever. I am still dreaming about the lemon risotto. Service was excellent; I didn’t even have to mention I was pregnant but dishes were adjusted where needed. When I indicated I didn’t like the nonalcoholic cocktail they offered, they immediately fetched a new one - on the house. The outdoor seating is so romantic. Wouldn’t go in winter though - the interior space isn’t very appealing.

Absolutely have dinner at 12 Fontane, the food is incredible and the service fantastic!!!  The sommelier is absolutely wonderful.  The breakfast - 5 star!

DO NOT stay at the resort.  Upon check in the staff was rather unwelcoming.  We were walked to our lodge with zero explanation of the property or where anything is located.  We were handed the key to our lodge along with a warm bottle of rose and the young lady walked away with ZERO explanation as to anything about our room.  Only half of our shower head expelled water and that was a mere dribble.  The manager did have that fixed after sending her an email.  Night two we were so tired from drinking all day that we decided to have room service. The receptionist at the front desk I don’t believe knows what is on the menu and just sent us whatever she wanted to.  The som from the restaurant delivered our food to apologize for serving us warm rose during our previous nights dinner, he didn’t but front desk manager tried to blame him for her staffs mistake.  He was lovely and a shining example of 5 star service, unlike the front desk.  A pretty smile doesn’t replace experienced 5 star employees.  This hotel was the place we looked forward to the most during our month in Italy, airbnbs offer better service.

Extremely Disappointing Experience with No Refund and Retaliatory Behavior

Our stay at Villa Neri hotel was marred by an incident with one of their masseuses that left us appalled and deeply dissatisfied. The level of rudeness, defensiveness, and disrespect displayed by the masseuse was simply unacceptable. To make matters worse, it became apparent that the masseuse was purposefully hurting me during the massage after I requested slightly more pressure. Instead of addressing my request professionally, she chose to retaliate by causing me unnecessary discomfort and pain.

When we tried to escalate the situation and request to speak with management, we were informed that there was no immediate management available. We were left waiting for a couple of hours for the manager to finally arrive, but by that point, it was too little too late. The lack of timely intervention and the delay in addressing our concerns further emphasized the hotel's poor guest relations.

To add insult to injury, not only did we have to leave the hotel due to their appalling guest relations, but they also refused to refund us for the night we didn't stay. This lack of compensation for the unpleasant experience and the retaliatory behavior of the masseuse only compounded our disappointment.

We were left with no choice but to find another hotel, where we could enjoy a more welcoming and respectful environment. The negative impact of this incident on our overall experience cannot be overstated.

Considering the disrespectful behavior of the masseuse, the retaliatory actions taken during the massage, the delay in management response, and the lack of refund, we strongly advise potential guests to consider alternative accommodations. Our hope is that this review serves as a cautionary tale and prompts the hotel management to address these issues promptly, ensuring a more pleasant stay for future guests.

Beautiful destination hotel. If you want to relax with great views, great service and great food, please stay here.

If we ever get the chance to go back to Sicily, we’ll be stopping again here!

We had an excellent 2 nights. A great base for exploring Mt Etna. We dined in one night and enjoyed the 7 course degustation menu. Very 😋.
The hotel and staff are amazing. The pool area is superb. Fabulous large rooms with everything you need. Unfortunately we didn’t have time for the spa and wellness centre. Oh, had great breakfasts.
Highly recommend.
