The food, the service and the atmosphere were all truly magnificent. Traveling to Noto and exploring the town and this restaurant was a beautiful experience and a very pleasant surprise. The waiter and the owner were sweet and attentive, and made sure everything was delicious. I highly recommend to locals and tourists alike

Incredibly kind and attentive staff, an amazing atmosphere and interesting, modern, industrial interior design. We ordered pasta and it was the best one we’ve had in Sicily! High quality ingredients and great balance of flavours. Amazing local wines. I highly recommend dining in Gastro matto!

A hidden gem. Must come to this restaurant if you are in Noto, Sicily.

They were very nice and friendly. Excellent service and we learnt some Italian as well. Every dish is fantastic and perfect. The presentation was “molto bella” and taste was amazing.

Will definitely come back to this restaurant when visiting Noto again!!

Gastro Matto is INCREDIBLE! Don’t miss out on this gem if you are in Noto, Sicily. We had dinner there tonight and I had to come back to our hotel and write the review immediately because they left such a great impression upon us. The passion and attention to detail were extremely evident in every aspect of our dining experience.
The owners and servers were extremely friendly, accommodating, polite, and gave us exceptional service. Every dish we ordered was fresh, hot, cooked perfectly and exploding with exquisite flavor. The main chef is the son of the owner and his culinary skills and expertise were evident even before we took our first bite of food. The presentation of our meals were beautiful and we feasted through our eyes first, and stomachs second. Upon finding out that it was my husband’s birthday tomorrow, the owner, Angela, brought out a special candle for our dessert and sang happy birthday with us. She made what was already a great meal into an exceptional experience.  You can tell they take immense pride in their restaurant because in addition to the delicious meal and wonderful service, the entire place was immaculate, (including the restrooms.)
We will definitely return back to this restaurant when we visit Noto again and I suggest you do the same! You won’t regret it!

Everybody was so welcoming, you could tell that all of the family who run the restaurant have so much love and passion in their craft, from the food and decorations. we were offered a limoncello shot on the house at the end of the night, and it truly is a hidden gem just off the high street. It was a good value and affordable meal with some of the nicest seafood in noto. me and my partner had the swordfish pasta and orata, and we would highly recommend it
