All'interno dell'albergo Torre del Sud, in zona Treppiedi,e' un accogliente ristorante aperto anche ai non residenti. Ambiente elegante e rilassante. pizze di ottimo livello con ampia scelta cosi come altri piatti della tradizione siciliana. personale attento.

Soggiornando nell'hotel (bellissimo!!!!) abbiamo deciso di mangiare in questo ristorante a detta delle recensioni "STELLATO". Ci hanno proposto un menù con possibilità di scelta fra 2 piatti a € 25,00 (e già lì ero titubante) fra antipasto, primo e secondo con contorno (il contorno solo come accompagnamento del secondo). Il mio compagno ha preso un primo e un secondo con contorno:  pasta al pomodoro e una fettina di carne con patate. Io ho preso un antipasto e un secondo (o almeno così doveva essere) : come antipasto ho preso un tagliere di salumi e formaggi tipici con marmellatine perché l'alternativa del pesce spada affumicato su letto di rucola la potevo mangiare anche a casa, per secondo c'era il pescato del giorno e non amando il pesce con lisca (c'era un'orata) mi hanno offerto in alternativa un trancio di pesce spada e ho preso quello con contorno di patate. Arrivati alle 21:30 previo prenotazione alle 23:00 avevamo mangiato solo l'antipasto io (il tagliere dei salumi e formaggi buono ma niente di cucinato) e la pasta al pomodoro il mio compagno (buona, ma normalissima pasta al pomodoro con burro). Alle 23:15 ci hanno portato i secondi: fettina ai ferri con patate al mio compagno e un piatto con pesce spada affumicato su letto di rucola (?????) a me con contorno di patate. Lì per lì sono rimasta interdetta perché essendo freddo e con il locale semivuoto c'era voluta 1 ora e mezza per portarlo? Poi soprattutto non era il trancio di pesce spada ordinato (guardate le foto per favore) anche se era arrivato con il contorno giusto quindi qualcosa non tornava. Ho chiamato la persona che aveva preso l'ordine e gli ho detto che quello era l'antipasto sul menù e non quanto ordinato e dopo aver prima detto che era colpa sua e che si era spiegato male con lo chef (no perché ci aveva ribadito più volte che il contorno era ordinabile solo con il secondo) mi ha proposto di farmi fare il trancio di pesce spada che avevo inizialmente richiesto al che ho rifiutato ESSENDO ORMAI GIÀ LE 23:30. Ovviamente poi dal conto non hanno tolto niente pur avendo sbagliato e pur avendomi fatto pagare un antipasto al posto di un secondo. Che non avessero avuto il trancio di pesce spada ci sta ma lo hanno proposto loro come alternativa e fa veramente innervosire il fatto che contavano che io non mi accorgessi della differenza fra un carpaccio e un trancio alla griglia o che stessi zitta, boh... Fatto sta che mi sono alzata avendo mangiato 2 piatti freddi che avrei potuto mangiare normalmente a casa visto che è roba da appoggiare solo su un piatto.
Di stellato non ho visto neanche una punta. Mi sa che lo chef sia cambiato perché la recensione prima della mia è di un anno fa. Guardate anche la differenza che c'è fra le foto che hanno messo e le mie.
Consiglio l'hotel, ma sconsiglio di mangiare in questo ristorante.

Staying in the hotel (beautiful!!!!) we decided to eat in this restaurant which according to the "STARRED" reviews. They offered us a menu with the possibility of choosing between 2 dishes at €25.00 (and already there I was hesitant) between starter, first course and second course with side dish (the side dish only as an accompaniment to the second course). My partner had a first and second course with side dishes: pasta with tomato sauce and a slice of meat with potatoes. I took an appetizer and a second course (or at least that's how it should have been): as an appetizer I took a platter of typical cured meats and cheeses with jams because I could also eat the alternative of smoked swordfish on a bed of rocket at home, as a second course there was the catch of the day and not liking fish with bones (there was a sea bream) they offered me a slice of swordfish as an alternative and I took the one with a side of potatoes. We arrived at 9.30pm after making a reservation at 11.00pm. I had only eaten the starter (the cold cuts and cheese platter was good but nothing cooked) and my partner had the tomato pasta (good, but very normal tomato pasta with butter) . At 11.15pm they brought us the second courses: grilled slice with potatoes for my partner and a dish with smoked swordfish on a bed of rocket (?????) for me with a side of potatoes. At first I was taken aback because, being cold and with the place half empty, it had taken 1 and a half hours to bring it? Then above all it wasn't the swordfish steak ordered (look at the photos please) even though it had arrived with the right side dish so something wasn't right. I called the person who had taken the order and told him that it was the appetizer on the menu and not what was ordered and after having first said that it was his fault and that he had explained himself badly to the chef (no because he had reiterated several times that the side dish could only be ordered with the second course) he proposed to have me make the swordfish steak that I had initially requested, to which I refused SINCE IT WAS ALREADY 11.30 PM. Obviously they didn't remove anything from the bill despite having made a mistake and having made me pay for a starter instead of a second course. That they didn't have the swordfish slice is fine but they proposed it as an alternative and it really makes me nervous that they expected me not to notice the difference between a carpaccio and a grilled slice or that I stay quiet, well... The fact is that I got up having eaten 2 cold dishes that I could have normally eaten at home since it's something you can only place on a plate.
I didn't see even a hint of a star. I think the chef has changed because the review before mine is from a year ago. Also look at the difference between the photos they posted and mine.
I recommend the hotel, but I do not recommend eating in this restaurant.
It's a shame because being inside the hotel it was convenient.
