Zingaro Nature Reserve is absolutely stunning! The views are breathtaking, and the beaches are beautiful. It's a perfect spot for snorkeling with plenty of fish, caves, and an overall fantastic experience for exploration.

Make sure to bring a lot of water as there's some moderately challenging trekking required.
Note that sun-umbrellas aren't allowed in the park.

The entrance fee is €5 for adults, which is well worth it.
Parking: €9-10.

Beautiful place. I recommend going through the path in the mountain (empty in october, early morning, 7am, not too hard if you're in shape, if youre not much of a hiker it might be hard) and finishing with an easy hike to cool down at the beach (crowdy). Keep in mind there is barely a shade on the paths, check temperatures, take good shoes, water, better go early morning if you want to hike.

The highlight of my Sicily trip. You can do the nicest walks with the most breathtaking views here and stop every once in a while for a swim in the pictureesque beaches. Loved it here.

I am a tourist, so I am part of the problem. But I did not enjoy so much my hike along the coastline because of perpetual motor sounds from the many boats that hop from Cala to Cala along the coast. They also tend to blast loud music when they hang out by the beaches, which, I find, defeats the purpose of a natural reserve and spoil somewhat the whole experience. Not sure I would do it again, at least not during the summer time.

That being said, the coastline is quite spectacular and the beaches we stopped by were cute, with clear and refreshing waters.

Hikers be aware that if your are like us, walking under the summer scorching sun, there is no shade along the track and no share on the beaches. Bring a lot of water and then bring some more. Umbrellas are forbidden in the park and on the beaches. Bring some water shoes and wear sneakers and a hat and ear plugs ;). With those, you will enjoy a beautiful summer day in Sicily.
