This the second time we have had dinner at this excellent family run property. Tonight we had their 5 course menu which started with finely sliced duck breast, then a pasta dish. The main event was lamb and ended with a really great desert, see photos. A really excellent meal with good friendly service in a lovely village location.

I had been waiting for this reservation for months and I was not disappointed! The restaurant has a very cozy vibe with a great atmosphere. The service was just amazing. They were patient and very informative on the menu and the wine. I strongly recommend the wine pairing. And then the food... WOW! I chose the Greatest Hits 4 course menu and it was incredible! From their classic almond risotto to their new beef tartare, I was left speechless with all the flavours and beautiful arrangements. If you ever are in Chianti or close, this restaurant must be on your bucket list. Make sure to have a reservation, the places are limited.

Excellent food both in taste and presentation, warm service, and incredible value for this level of restaurant.  The food is simple local cooking to perfection.

Second best Michelin restaurant I've tried. Had the 8 course (which is more like 11 after all the extras) with wine pairing. Dishes are creative, sometimes adventurous. Even when average there is something to appreciate. Service is attentive but not overwhelming. Wine pairing is great. Prices are unusually affordable for a Michelin star. The atmosphere is okay, the music isn't loud and you can't hear other tables' discussions unless you want to. If you're in the area definitely give this a try. It might not blow you away on all dishes, but it will be a very fine dinner all in all.

Oh and for reviewers who said the staff was arrogant, that is far from the truth in my experience. Everyone was friendly.

We loved the warmth and authenticity of this restaurant. The dishes were absolutely delicious, tuscan style but with an inventive twist. Loved the wine list - set out in distance from the restaurant - showcasing local produce. The setting is whimsical. You'll find a traditional vino window just up the road. Would highly recommend!
