What a fabulous place - I feel like I've been on an adventure! Might be the best meal I've ever had (certainly the best meal in Florence).

Recommended by a friend, this restaurant based in an up-and-coming area, is very proud to serve authentic Italian flavours with a modern twist. I contacted the restaurant when booking my reservation and they confirmed selected dishes could be made Vegan.

Staff went through the menu and made suggestions (and there were choices!).  I had celeriac carpaccio to start (minus the red onion cream), chittara Nugolo (no cheese) and sorbet to finish.

All dishes had unique flavours, especially the pasta - a simple dish but so wonderful.  The bread selection was a great accompaniment and we selected some lovely wine.

The neat restaurant had a great atmosphere.  Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.  It's mesmerising to watched the talented chefs create tasty works of art through the open(glass walled) kitchen.

I enjoyed the whole experience and recommend this wonderful place.  I thought prices were very reasonable too.

I ate with non-vegans.  All courses looked amazing.   Vegetarians and gluten free options and menu marked with allergens.

By far the best restaurant in Florence. After a few days in the city all of the menus start to blend together, but Nugolo stands out. It remains true to the classic ingredients in Tuscany but adds a modern twist without trying too hard. I can’t recommend enough if you are looking for a memorable meal during your trip to Florence. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the wine list is thoughtful and unique. Five stars!

Nugolo is a very nice restaurant located about 20 mins away from the main square. In a style of what you would see in a Michelin star restaurant, there's an option for tasting menu or Al carte. The tasting menu is quite good, but I will say the portions are very generous, even to the point that I was becoming full by 4th of 7 courses. Otherwise, I think it's a very nice restaurant that has a lot of potential and can be a nice dinner.

This was the best dining experience I have ever had. The food was amazing. The service was fantastic and the entire

liked their wine pairing very much. We got to try different local wines at 45 euro which wasn't a bad deal at all.
