Every aspect of our stay was five star. The staff was so friendly, welcoming and helpful and really helped make our stay extra special. The breakfast was amazing with several different options for all types of dietary needs. And of course the cappuccino was delicious! The room was very comfortable and large and location could not be beat. Do yourself a favor and book this stay even if you spend a little extra. You will not regret it!

I stayed at Palazzo Niccolini Al Duomo for a few nights in mid-September.

I was greeted warmly by reception, before getting a tour of my room. What I will say, is please look at the nicer rooms, as the room I stayed in one the last night wasn't pleasant. I think it's worth having a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom but if you are here for a single night and will be out most of the day, then this might not apply to you. Breakfast was good, with quite a selection to choose from. I would recommend getting there early if you want the largest selection available to you.

The location couldn't be any more perfect, there's not much more to say about that. If you like the Duomo and wish to look at its beauty, this is the place for you.

During my stay, I made a reservation for a massage and it was incredible. Eva was wonderful, sweet, and fun. It was an hour that couldn't have been spent in a better way. She doesn't speak much English however, passion and kindness transcends verbal communication. I highly recommend getting a massage with Eva.

Overall, I'd recommend the Palazzo Niccolini Al Duomo for those who are traveling in Florence.

An amazing hotel in an excellent location in Florence. Truly a small palace with beautifully renovated rooms that travels you back in time. Staff were very polite and helpful, breakfast was wonderful and everybody made us feel welcome and pampered. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

Stay here for the location, as it’s the only thing going for this hotel!  At $600+ per night, there are many better options in Florence.

- Our room was big, but had a horrid smell every time we entered it!

- the furniture was old, decrepit and uncomfortable!

- The shower is ridiculously small for such a large bathroom (if you turn ever so slightly, you’ll bump open the glass door and water will spray all over the bathroom floor)!

- The breakfast was basic…and monotonous, as they never changed it up in the three nights we stayed there!

- Lastly, and worst of all, was the daft front desk person who was working on Wednesday (12/26) late afternoon & evening!  Rude, surly and stupid is a high bar, but she easily crossed it!

One highlight (other than location): the two women who worked the front desk most times: helpful & cheerful!

Never again!

We had an incredible stay at the Palazzo Niccolini! Service was impeccable in every aspect, from the cleaning, to the security, the breakfast and the cleaning facilities. We stayed in a junior suite, decorated with beautiful frescos and we felt as if we were travelling back in time. The hotel is steps away from the Duomo and offers parking spaces for your car. Staff were very attentive and honestly we couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to stay in Florence!
