We stayed in the apartments at Villa Barberino for a week, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. The service and responsiveness of the staff were disappointing, any requests we made either took 2-3 days to be addressed or were simply ignored.

The cleanliness of the apartment also left much to be desired. We noticed dust and cobwebs in the corners, and dust had settled on the cornices and chandeliers. While the bed linens were freshly laundered, some pieces were visibly stained. The apartment’s overall atmosphere felt dark and uninviting, and the bathroom was particularly cramped-though perhaps that’s typical for the region.

On a positive note, the restaurant staff were a highlight of our stay. Their warmth and attentiveness helped lift our spirits, and we genuinely appreciated their service.

The breakfast included in our stay was very basic, consisting of cheese, sausage, bread, tomatoes, and tea or coffee. For the price, we expected a bit more variety.

We recently hosted our wedding at Villa Barberino, where 62 of our friends and family flew in from the States to celebrate with us. We received countless compliments on the incredible food, exceptional service, and attention to detail.

They welcomed all our guests, delivered their luggage to their rooms using golf carts, and the breakfast service was beautifully arranged with something for everyone. The villa's grounds are breathtaking and immaculately maintained, adding to the charm of the experience. The entire staff was helpful, kind, and quick to adapt.

While wedding planning can be a bit challenging if Italian isn't your first language, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure your happiness and accommodate any requests.

Overall, our wedding was an absolute dream, and we can't wait to return for future holidays.

The views were amazing and the gardens and landscaping were stunning. Room was clean, pool was amazing and had a great bartender at the pool. The restaurant food was amazing and atmosphere so romantic.  The problem with the room was the air conditioning wasn’t working well and we were so hot! And the jets did not work in the bathtub. If the air conditioning worked it would have been 10/10.
