We went here today for quick breakfast and was really pleased with the service. The staff was really friendly, food quality was excellent and the decor is absolutely beautiful. Pistachio croissants were delicious. Will definitely be going back here during our stay.

Nothing much can be said in this oldest cafe in Florence. To save some money, opt for the bar seat and you can lower priced drinks and pastries. All the pastries are fluffy and fresh. Excellent atmosphere but I would avoid the crowd by heading next door which is right beside. Same food quality but lesser crowd.

Caffè Gilli is a fantastic spot for breakfast in Florence!

The coffee and pastries are excellent, and the atmosphere is beautiful, historic and very inviting. A big thank you to Mr. Tomas for his friendly and attentive service—it really made the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit!

We had a quick stop here for the famous ice-cream coffee. It was raining very heavy in Florence on the day we visit, we walked in with dripping water rain coat, the store staff were very friends. Coffee is very nice, ice-cream is quite sweet, blending together it does make taste coffee creamy and smooth, just a bit too sweet for me. We did not sit down, just had our coffee at the counter, service is very fast.  The deserts and candies are displayed very nicely, lovely to look at.
