Very special food. Extraordinary carrots, main dish some goat from mountains. We did not take wine paring but the wine  glasses they suggested for a food was perfect.

Wow! Taste explosion is the first thing which entered my mind as I bit into the first snack on the 9 course tasting menu with paired wine (the other dinner option was 7 courses,  there is no a la carte for dinner).

Hebbo is a hidden wonder, the food is world class, and I think significantly more innovative than what I've had at other fine dining places including ones with Michelin stars (this one is totally deserving) while comfortably meeting that top tier level of what I think of as food engineering and artistry.

The execution is also perfect, all dishes being varied in taste, composition, style, etc, while all having that excellent combo of something crispy and something soft and a combination of clean and bold flavours in each dish. The ingredients are all sourced regionally (within 200km), and they tasted sublime as well as healthy. Totally unexpectedly, we left super full, the sizes were not miserly like some Michelin acclaimed places, but instead we're enough without being too much, until dessert when there was more than enough to guarantee if you leave hungry it's your personal choice.

Some food notes: Superb sourdough, product of trial and error has reached perfection.

The ambiance is simply unbeatable in the middle of Toblach lake nature reserve, and last but not least the service was perfect for us, Christoph provided our main service and time flew by with his fun personality, jokes, and clear explanations of the dishes, and at the start we were asked about allergens/dislikes and they removed goats cheese for me, no drama.

This truly is an exceptional restaurant, and worth travelling to to experience. You can even stay the night at the local campsite, or the local skyview chalets if it's too far to travel home or you went with the wine pairing (which was also delicious!)

We enjoyed ourselves very much. The dish has a very interesting combination of flavors. The staff is very helpful and accommodating.

If I would have to stick with the complimentary sandwich when reviewing this restaurant, you’d be left with a burger with no bun. The only one thing to compliment here was their interior design. Service was lacking any sort of standard, music was absolutely tasteless as well was their “homemade” versions of classic breakfast ingredients - lacking any sort of taste that is. There was no butter served with the bread, nor any knives to cut the bread with. Fair to say, poor service. All in all, this place couldn’t walk the talk. Very try hard with no actual trying. Wouldn’t go back.

After a cozy and cold night in a tent me and my fiancé decided to treat us self to some breakfast eating out. Little did we know that we stumbled upon the most snobby restaurant with absolutely nothing to back it up. We were there at 08 in the morning and they were blazing lousy EDM music editions of yacht pop songs through the speaker set. We kindly asked the waiter if he could turn the music down, because our ears were bleeding and the response was “why?” And “Oh My God”. How dare we sit in peace and enjoy our completely undercooked eggs and homemade Nutella, that tastes like sand paper.
