We eat there for a lunch today. Despite having checked the menu online, when we arrived we were informed that they only offer daily menu today consisting of first course (gambretti), lasagna as pasta (14 eur) and filled paprika as secondi (17 eur). Okay, we ordered lasagna and paprika. Needless to mention that both dishes were already pre-cooked and only pre-heated before serving, so there were no items on menu, which were cooked to order (maybe gambretti with salad), what is a bit strange for a slow food restaurant. While the taste was good, the portions were minuscule. All the time I had a feeling we are in a Greek tavern where you point at already cooked dishes and they warm them for you (despite the setting and nice cutlery). We left hungry, the bread was excellent (the best on our Italy trip this time). The setting on the terrace is beautiful as well, while it may get too hot during the lunch. All in all it was a strange experience: while it seems to be a normal restaurant, their lunch service is significantly reduced at inflationary prices. Maybe they still drive on a hype of Osterie d’Italiy guide? I don’t know but we would rather not return again.

It was a joyful experience. I have enjoyed dishes and the good service. Compared to other places I have visited in Rovereto area, this place is highly advisable! :) (the dish you see is a carbonara made with the freshest Garda lake fish)

The dishes are all balanced somewhere between innovative and traditional, not to mention delicious and great care is given to the smallest details. The staff is friendly and professional and will gladly explain and recommend meal and wine options for you. The menu is always seasonal with dishes made from local ingredients and includes vegetarian choices.
