The hotel is very nicely located and the service is outstandingly positive and friendly!
The rooms are modern and feel premium although the bathroom ceiling came down during our visit and the staff seemed to know that this was an issue and happens from time to time…
A big disappointment is the lack of any sport facility. The hotel stands for relaxation and in my opinion a hotel gym falls under the relaxation part. In general 5 star hotels should include at least basic gym equipment. While they do offer a „fitness room“ it only includes two sets of dumbbells and a couple of yoga mats.
Another downside is the food in both restaurants. The quality is medium at best. The dishes sound great but disappoint upon taste. However, I must stress that the waiter and hotel staff are extremely friendly and approachable, which makes the dinner experience a lot more pleasant. Nevertheless, it would be nice if the food was up to the same standard.
Another surprise was the absence of a coffee machine in the rooms, which I expect from a 5 star hotel. Upon asking the reception they placed a basic nespresso machine into our room for 15€ a day and thats not including original nespresso tabs.
