While the food was good (NOT Michelin good), the service was abominable. After being ignored for 15 minutes, we had to ask for menus. We ordered and asked for a bottle of still water. We even had to remind them about the water…after our food began to arrive. The food arrived slower than a turtle, and they did not even bring out all the entrees at the same time (I received mine 15 minutes after my wife received hers). After we finished, we waited for about 10 minutes before we had to request our empty plates to be removed. We were really looking forward to the desserts, but after another 20 minutes, never receiving dessert menus, and being completely ignored by the waitress, we got up and paid at the counter and left.
If a fine dining experience includes great (or even just passable) service, then I recommend you look elsewhere. This was terrible and we will never be back.

Welcoming location, local food prepared with taste and set up with style.  Typical products to savor and enjoy.  delicious rye bread, tender and juicy venison, abundant typical desserts.  All with Trentino wine.  Difficult to be disappointed

Dropped in to Lerchner’s while out on a walk. Luckily we go a table after 10 mins. I would advise booking, clearly very popular and there are many reasons for that. Great staff, lovely terrace, tastefully decorated inside and great views. Oh and before you focus and tuck into their beautiful food, you get the accompanying noise of Italians having fun. A wonderful holiday experience, if I lived there it might be weekly!

Found this gem after our trip to Lago di Braies, this place is absolutely delightful! The ox steak with the potatoes were amazing (although the steak was just a little overcooked for my liking). Their homemade bread were also so great we finished all of it. Was also greeted by their cat who was super friendly, I had my lunch with the cat on my lap :)

Highly recommended, do reserve in advance!
