We were extremely disappointed with our stay. The beds were uncomfortable, and the hotel was not clean. However, the most unacceptable issue was the ongoing construction during our visit. Workers were installing new curtains in each room, forcing us to navigate around construction equipment throughout our stay.

Despite having "Do Not Disturb" signs on our doors and explicitly requesting that no one enter our rooms while we were out, the hotel assured us that no work would be done. Yet, when we returned, we found new curtains installed and a layer of dust covering our room from the work. Having someone other than housekeeping enter our room—especially after we specifically asked them not to—is completely unacceptable. This experience left us feeling disrespected and uneasy, and we would not recommend staying here.

The staff are the hotel were all very helpful and attentive. The level of service was high and several needs anticipated before I even asked. There was also no problem checking in late in the evening or leaving bags to store after check out. While the rooms were not large, they were adequate and airy. There was additionally a nice cozy common area which was good for doing a little work or relaxing to get out of the hustle of the busy Ponte Vecchio. The location is right on a bus line which made it easy to transfer to a tram and take transit back to the car. It was also on a popular running route so perfect to get up before the crowds and do a run along the Arno.  Breakfast is ok but nothing exceptional. I felt well taken care of and I would definitely recommend it.

This is my second time at this hotel since my first time they have renovated it and it is beautiful. The rooms are lovely, big opening windows, excellent view and convenient location right beside the Ponte Vecchio breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and graciously served. We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel one night after walking all day and it was Excellent. I had meatballs and they were delicious. I would definitely stay here every time I come to Florence!

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. It had everything we needed.  The location is fantastic.  The bed was very comfortable.  The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely.

He went above and beyond to help us secure a last-minute room and offered excellent recommendations for places to visit around the city.
