This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It really is the BEST location. It is close to great food and all the things you come to Florence to see and do. The hotel is clean and beautiful and the staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The bathroom in the room has an actual door and not the sliding barn door. The bathroom is large and the shower is one of the best showers ever. The bed is comfortable and the pillows are perfect. I highly recommend staying here and can't wait to stay here again in the future.

Our time at Hotel Spadai was just one day, but it was the best part of our entire trip to Florence. The hotel is ideally located in the city center, which made it not only very safe but also incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The hotel's facilities were all spotless, comfortable, and provided a truly relaxing atmosphere.

What made our experience even more memorable was the exceptional service from the staff. Every single staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay perfect. They went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed and well taken care of. We were especially touched by their thoughtful gesture of upgrading us to a Junior Suite for our honeymoon – it was such a kind and considerate surprise.

Thank you so much, Hotel Spadai, for making our honeymoon unforgettable. It was truly the best honeymoon experience we could have imagined!

This hotel is incredible!

We just got back from 3 nights at this beautiful property and wow, what a beauty it is.

We walked here from the train station in less than 15 minutes. Upon arrival at the property, we were greeted by the bell person. We checked in with ease, they let us know that the mini bar was complimentary and told us where breakfast would be served.

Before I go on, you should definitely add the breakfast option. Most incredible breakfast around.

When we arrived in our room, we immediately noticed how open the room was. The high ceilings with exposed wood was a fantastic touch. The bed was huge and so comfortable.

The bathroom was also very roomy and the rain shower head was great. The huge closets made it easy to organize your items. The hand lotion and the body wash smelled so amazing.

The service at this property was fantastic and when requesting anything, it was promptly brought to our room.

Breakfast was a whole different level. They had cheese, meats, eggs, crepes, 20+ kinds of desserts, tons of fruit, delicious breads and much more. Juice and water for beverages as well as a variety of cappuccinos and coffees that they'd make.

This location is top-notch. Right down from the Basilica and virtually a 15-20 min walk from anywhere else worth going to.

Take the plunge and book with this hotel, you won't regret it. Easily one of the top 3 nicest hotels I've stayed at. We'll be back next time we're in Florence.

The room was neat and tidy but the bathroom was a bit small for us. The hotel had the perfect location for all the tourist spots and that's the reason we'll stay at this hotel the next time we're in Florence.

I also love the numerous art works in the rooms and all around the hotel.

I had high expectations for this hotel based on its amazing reviews. While it was indeed very nice and in a fantastic location, it didn’t quite live up to being the best I’ve stayed in. I paid extra for a deluxe room because the online images showed much larger spaces, but our room didn’t match what was advertised.

That said, the jacuzzi tub and shower were a lovely touch, and the tub was especially enjoyable. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, but I believe there are others just as good in the area at a more competitive price.”**
