Beautiful hotel with rooms that evoke movies like Room with a View - absolutely stunning vistas. The hotel gardens are beautiful and I imagine the pool in summer being a highlight for guests. The biggest challenge is how far away it is from the Florence city centre as getting back from the CBD can be difficult when the taxis are overwhelmed. We couldn’t find a free taxi on either the Saturday or Sunday evenings from Florence back to the hotel and resorted to Ubers, which are at least 3x the price of regular taxis here.

You can see the whole city from here instead seeing Piazzale Michelangelo.

The castle is very big and all the staff are very kind.  You will see a cuties pygme house and 4-5 lovely cats. The breakfast is simple but they make it daily.

The room was beautiful, the staff was very friendly and the view stunning.
Disappointed with the breakfast though: not very fresh and small offer.
Worth to stay there during Summer so you can enjoy the pool and the terrace.

When I found the website for Bellosaguarso, I booked immediately.  I just knew it would be a memory we'd never forget.

And, then, we arrived.

And my heart opened to the experience and I became emotional.  The history. The colors. The impeccable service. It didn't feel like coming home, it felt like going away to a place that's been waiting to welcome you to a new way of thinking about Italy, about travel.

We have relaxed, talked for hours, watched sunset while enjoying their Toscana wine, and ate more breakfast desserts than we'd normally indulge in and walked up and down the shortcut to town, because for a few quiet moments it made us feel like locals.

To say this has been an incredible experience is to understate our appreciation, especially of the kind and efficient Abdul,  and the eversmiling, over delivering Babacar.

Great hotel! Rooms are a bit dated, but makes up for it in the friendly staff, especially Babakar! Yesterday a waiter worked an extra hour instead of going home to serve us food. The breakfast is great. Haven't been in the pool yet but will soon.
