Our time at La Ménagère in Florence was amazing! The vibe was super classy, with pretty decor and a romantic feel that drew us in right from the start. We only meant to grab a quick tea, but we ended up hanging out for hours because it was just too nice. We treated ourselves to some delicious pancakes that were light and fluffy, along with tasty little sandwiches that were packed with flavor, and fresh bread drizzled with top-notch olive oil that had a nice, peppery kick. The drinks were also fantastic; the lemoncello fizz was super refreshing, and the margarita balanced sweetness and tang just right. Everything about our visit to La Ménagère was spot on, leaving us with great memories of a truly unforgettable first afternoon of the year.

To fuel our day, we enjoyed lattes and cappuccinos paired with a selection of delectable breakfast items, including buttery croissants. The exceptional quality of the food, combined with the intricate details of the interior design, reflect the passion and dedication behind this unique Florentine gem, which showcases an exquisite array of European cuisine.

I often think back on our trip to Florence and the cocktails we had at this place. The Amaretto sour in particular is one of the best I’ve ever had. We even went back the next day for breakfast which was delicious.

Great shop attached where I bought some ornate spoons with green handles that I use on a daily basis. They’ve become my favourite spoons.

Very nice place with a exceptional environment. Between flowers, books, coffee shop and confortable chairs and sofas you will not regret it. The service is very nice and the staff very friendly.

Only thing is maybe the prices. I mean 22€ for a ham and cheese croque monsieur is not really coherent. Even if the cheese and ham came from France it doesn’t make sense to me as a French Madame 🤌🏼

The food was magnificent. I had the 5 course menu. All the meals were meticulously prepared and served gently, before every plate the staff gave a short explanation of what the plate was and what it contained. Reception was amazing as well, the reservation system online really works not like other restaurants in Florence! They even called me to confirm if I was coming.
I wasn’t very pleased with the bill as they charged some city tax and added 5 euro on top of the main plate, which I’m not sure if it’s right so ended up paying it although I would have preferred to know upfront. They charged me 2 euros more for every cup of wine I had, I noticed and they corrected thus the 3 stars
