Traditional old trattoria we had some fresh pasta and cold cut to start.
We also try the chicken liver. The food is simple and good.
I recommend more this kind of place that the tourist trap in the center.

Excellent lunch spot or perfect for a nice date night. Charmingly authentic little local spot! The Fiorentina Bistecca was wonderful. I and my friend had the Pici Pesto and Pici Aglione. So good.

The bar is in front. Prompt and delightful service.

Overall great. Original atmosphere. A place for locals. The Fiorentina was nicely done. House wine very drinkable. However, the service was unwelcoming and raw at first. The place was 2/3 empty for a very late lunch; we had a reservation, but got by far the worst table, half into a passage towards the kitchen, because the rest was obviously already prepared for the next day. The annoying Germans we can be 😎, we forced our way towards a better table. (Just insist!) In the end, our waiter even warmed up a bit, after we ordered one dessert after the other.

Our final dinner in Florence was at @trattoriadaburde for Bisteca Florentine.

We were excited to try this Florentine dish as we are all steak lovers. My suggestion if you don’t like very rare or blue steaks is not to have this. Thankfully I like it like this but for others in our group it was borderline edible at this doneness.

The food was good and the sides of potatoes and seasonal veg were very good.

This restaurant is a bit further out and the English speaking ability is much less. We had a lot of trouble communicating. In the end Ryan spoke some Spanish which she understood a little of, and we used google translate.  We managed to get everything delivered that we asked for.

The restaurant is beautiful and very large which means service can be slow.

If you are heading out here for dinner be warned that it’s very hard to get a taxi afterwards.

We were on a tight time limit as we were departing Florence late that night, so I would definitely come and try this again with someone who speaks Italian and without any time constraints.

The food was great. We tried the Charcuterie and the Florentine steak which were lovely. Unfortunately the service was rude and the waiter kept making remarks about my dietary requirements, which were unnecessary and made me feel uncomfortable.
