I didn‘t know it was a famous restaurant that has been running for 3 generations!
You must reserve before you visit, otherwise you have to wait.

The atmosphere is very local and all staffs are friendly.
We had eaten already steaks at another restaurant, so we tried Pasta.
It’s a reasonable price and delicious.
You can see how to cook, and It seems they have pride in theirs.

The dessert recommended was good!
You can pay by card also.

Amazing experience. Delicious meat, perfectly cooked my favourite meal in Florence!! The staff was very helpful and efficient. Adored the busy atmosphere. For this quality of a stake I'd pay more than 25€ anywhere else.

An institution where I eat at least once when in Florence. Traditional dishes, well prepared (including the famous Bistecca alla Fiorentina), all at yesteryear prices.
The busy waitstaff is efficient and attentive, working very hard.
You can make a reservation by calling or going by the restaurant (dinner on Friday only is especially competitive in regard to reservations). The owner can be brusque (with a passing resemblance to a particular Seinfeld character) but is very nice.
The atmosphere is convivial, simple, seating is close together. A delightful place.

Locals’ best kept secret for traditional florentine food especially the steak! This is one of the best meals of our trip. The place gets packed so be sure to reserve a table in advance. We just tried our luck for a table for 2 and they had one late reservation so we got accommodated.

We had tocco di costata which is like rib eye (?) it’s a smaller cut compared to the usual cut of bistecca alla Fiorentina. We also had amaaazing crostini di fegatini which is chicken liver pate (one of Florence’s specialty dishes) — don’t leave without trying it! We also got tortellini al ragu which was great as well. Overall would recommend this place.

Real Italian experience. Acknowledge by many reviewers but they aren’t spoiled because of it.

Simple and delicious nothing fancy. When you see the menu and queue then you understand why ylu are there.

We had spaghetti and tortellini both was well balanced dishes. Butter just enough, sauce salty like it supposed to be.

Only avoid female short hair waitress if you are a tourist. Thats it
