Took the €25 tour of facility and wine tasting. It was amazing!
I was super amazed at the sustainability this winery had with their solar lights and green vertical wall.

🌱I hope they can also come to realize how animal agriculture affects environmental issues and stop serving meat and duck at their restaurant. A plant based menu would really complete your sustainability stance 100%.

We stayed for 3 days in June. Such a beautiful place in Montepulciano.   Very quiet. Breackfast was really good. When we left early on the last day, they sent us a big packed breakfast the day before. We also enjoyed free wine tasting session for guests.
Rooms were really clean and big.  Would definitely go again.

I keep dreaming about Salcheto... the unbeatable terrace with a magnificent view, the delicious wines, the hospitality of Ruben. We came here for a simple wine tasting after missing the tour time and loved every minute of it. The 3 wines are exceptional: we tried Chianti, Nobile and Nobile Riserva - loved Nobile with its smoothness and delicate character. Ruben was so welcoming, kind and helpful in understanding the wines and the process. He let us hang out on the patio for countless hours after the tasting and poured us 2 glasses of our favorites wines to continue enjoying for free.
The winery is located on a hill with a panoramic view of the Tuscan beautiful landscape.
Their food menu looked divine as well but the kitchen was closed during our visit for bread making ❤️
Cannot wait to come back to this magical place.

Magical spot, went without reservation hoping to enjoy some wine and tasted the Salcheto Riserva! The winery is accessible via a gravel road so get ready for the drive but well worth the effort as you will be rewarded with amazing views of Montepulciano and surroundings! Next time I’ll be sure to book a more extensive wine tasting tour!
