This restaurant was recommended by people at the villa we are staying at. The service was very good. The atmosphere is ok, but not particularly high-end or romantic. The food was average, which was disappointing,  considering most of the food we have had on our 4 trips to Italy have been nothing short of spectacular.  My wife's homemade marinara sauce is an order of magnitude better than the vegetarian red sauce we had here. But my wife is a spectacular cook. Everyone who has ever been to our home for dinner is anxiously awaiting another invitation. I have been told this numerous times.
So...  not a terrific experience,  but it is, after all, only one meal out of thousands.

Scenery is really beautiful. The wild boar pasta was good and the pasta were cooked to perfection (al dente). The meat however was covered in a pepper sauce and we could not see the meat itself. Also, it was a bit chewy and the colour inside was really pink as if the sear was not that good - tasted more like a burger patty than a steak.

Lovely ambience! We enjoyed the gnocchi and wild boar pasta (delicious) caprese salad and finished with the best panna cotta we have had on our travels so far. The scenery is breathtaking and although there are other guests around it is so peaceful

Nice location close to San Gimignano. The food was decent and some dishes were interesting: the pork with apple and plums. The ambiance during our visit was just ok: they had a rock radio on which was quite loud and did not fit the setting. They did lower the volume when asked.

This place was awesome. We went for lunch during the week and it wasn’t busy at all. The owner was so sweet to our two little boys and our young waitress put up with their craziness with so much patience and provided amazing service. Florentine steak was incredible, but the pasta would have been filling enough. Best meal in Italy so far, would 100% come back!
