We were staying in Florence and it was great to find this hidden gem of a restaurant. It was close to our hotel and a very short walk to the city centre. Food was excellent from the antipasta, the main courses, desserts and the house wine. Service was fantastic from a family run venue and a great story of being there since the grandfather had started it. The homemade lasagne and the local cold meats were superb.

One of the worst place that I have ever tried in Italy and generally in my life!Lassagna was not fresh!!!this dish was been reheated!The Bistecca alla Fiorentina was awful!So much raw meat!We want it medium well!But it was totally raw and not very high quality of meat!The dessert panacotta was disappointing!Small portion and not in the right temperature!The smell of the milk was very heavy!Do not waste money and time with this awful place!

The customer service is amazing! They are such a friendly bunch, make you feel right at home! Had dinner al fresco and it was really buzzing. The food tasted so authentic and yummy! We had the tagliatelle with truffle sauce and the ricotta and spinach dumpling, both tasted so fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!

I tried the spaghetti alla carrettiera. I got a very good taste by pouring cheese on it. The place has very nice seating both inside and outside. The employees are also smiling and very interested. The toilet looked pretty clean.

Nothing to write home about. The food was passable, just like the lukewarm service we received. I expected better from the truffle gnocci, which lacked texture and bite; and the sirloin seemed something I can do in the kitchen with half an effort.  Fine for a quick business lunch, not a go-to restaurant representative of Florence food can be.
