I ordered the chef’s special menu, which was their most expensive set at €65. The restaurant is small, with only about 8 or so tables. The lighting is a bit too bright/cold for my liking - warmer and slightly dimmer lighting would be better. There are bags of store bought pasta on the decorative shelving which I thought was a bit tacky and highlighted to me that the pasta is likely not homemade.

The pros:
-The service is great. The waitresses speak good English and thoroughly explained the allergens on the menu.
-The chef comes and presents each dish to you.
-If there is something you can’t finish, they kindly accommodate when you ask them to pack it for take away.
- They kindly sat me even as I was running about 7-8 minutes late for my reservation.
-The octopus was cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were unique and tasty, using limoncello to add a refreshing spin. Unfortunately, that was the only dish I enjoyed.

The cons:
-They had run out of some ingredients for dishes which I was interested in ordering, and their substitutions did not sound as appealing.
-The pasta dish was terrible. A mushy medley of a bunch of different shaped pastas, very overcooked. Aside from the mushy pasta, the sauce tasted OK but was a bit boring.
-The dessert, the sponge cake, was bathed in a pungent alcohol. I imagine this would augment most desserts, but it was cloying. Do not recommend.

Overall, I was disappointed in this restaurant.  For €65 before drink and coperto, I would expect higher quality execution across each dish. There are many other better restaurants in Venice at and below this price point.

My first time here and the food was incredible. You can choose from a meat, a vegetarian, a fish or a chef special menu - my Mum has returned 3 times in the last two weeks and loves all of the menus!
Incredible hosts and attentive friendly service. Chef Claudio comes to explain every meal and all are beautifully served. I ate my courses too quick before taking pictures but managed to get one of my main! The beef cheek perfectly cooked for over 24 hours and just divine. Cannot recommend this intimate fabulous place enough! Would deserve a Michelin star!

Very intimate dining space with an exposed kitchen and only seven tables. We really enjoyed the tasting menu concept along with getting to watch the chef prepare each dish. Menu offerings and flavor profiles were unique in relation to other restaurants we visited in Italy, making this a great spot for something different and palate-cleansing. Only suggested improvement is to offer diners the check closer to the time that they are finished dining - took us about 45 minutes to be cashed out after we originally requested the bill.

This place is such a gem!! A small, cozy bistro located in a little passageway in Venice. The menu is small, but created with so much thoughtfulness with local ingredients. There’s an open kitchen and you can see your food being cooked and plated to order. The owners/chefs Claudio and Claudia tirelessly explained each dish and ingredient. The desserts are made by Claudia, and since it’s Christmas we also got a Panettone to go. Everything was so delicious and was such a highlight to our trip to Italy. This is a must-visit, and we’ll definitely be back again!

Hands down the best food we had in venice. An absolute must visit. It feels like you are sitting right there in the kitchen watching all the food be made. Presentation of the meals by the chef is a great touch. Would recommend to anyone thinking of booking
