We stayed at this hotel in San Marco for three nights in January. I felt the price per night was reasonable, and breakfast was included (range of cooked, cold meats, fish and cheese, cereal, yoghurt, etc). The room was comfortable with the promised canal view. We were on the third floor and it was winter so it was also perfectly quiet - I have heard that San Marco can be noisy in summer but in January it was fine. Good shower with lots of hot water. Comfy beds, and they supply dressing gowns. There are no coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms but it is available downstairs and also plentifully at breakfast. The staff were friendly and all spoke English as well as bearing with my horribly rusty Italian language skills. The thing I really rated about this hotel was its location. We were able to go and see St. Mark's, the Doge's Palace etc and nip back to drop things off etc very conveniently. There are lots of nice places to eat close by too - eg Al Chianti, which I have reviewed separately.

Perfect place for location in Venice, central to a lot of things!

We had a very enjoyable stay overall - our view was divine and made our stay what it was. The review of our stay might have been different had it not had such a gorgeous view because the rest was good but not super special. We purchased a double deluxe suite with a canal view and I have to say we were disappointed with the size of the room as it was very small for two people but we also had a baby so the cot took up the only space that was left. We therefore spent little time there as it felt a bit cramped.

The bathroom was nice, very powerful shower and good temperature. I was expecting a bath as is shown on the website and would have been helpful with a baby but not a big deal.

We felt the service from the breakfast staff was wonderful, they were so welcoming and accommodating. The front desk staff were helpful but not much interaction when coming and going and it would have elevated our stay.

Breakfast was delicious and had everything you could want.

Overall, a good stay.

Once you get delivered to the door in your water taxi then you know you have arrived to a wonderful place. We were checked in an on our way.  The room my wife and I got has 2 twin beds (king)  the shower is wonderful.  I do recommend coming here.

We checked in last night and Mr. Marcello at reception gave us a warm welcome. He made our check in pretty quick and smooth considering we had booked it through a partner from booking.com.
Room and washroom was clean, airy and had big windows with good ventilation.
There was luggage storage facility available which we used today morning which was very helpful.
Hotel has a direct docking facility for water taxi which is pretty convenient for tourists who don’t want to take a walk from Saint Lucia station which is a 30 mins walk.
Piazza San Marco is 2-3 mins walk from hotel and has cafes within a walking distance of 2-3 mins.
Hotel staircase is very comfortable with an operating lift good enough to fit in 2 persons along with their luggage. There is a porter facility too at reception for your luggage as well.

!!! NOT SAFETY !!!
During the evening shift, the gray-haired middle-aged man at the reception disturbed me by calling my room phone late in my stay and saying that he found me very beautiful and wanted to do something in the evening. Since I did not feel safe at your hotel, which I preferred for a safe and comfortable stay, I left 1 night early and had to settle in a new hotel. I came to Venice for business and this disrupted my work. Also, I did not get a refund for the last night. Under these conditions, I do not recommend the hotel. I hope you will do your best to prevent another customer from experiencing this.
