Had a fantastic 40th wedding anniversary break in Venice. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. Wonderful room with view of the canal and bridge of sighs. Breakfast excellent. Hotel is in a great central location. Loved my stay there. Can not wait to revisit the beautiful city of Venice and this hotel. Thank you to all for making our stay special. A special mention for Marco the driver who took us on a cruise around the grand canal organised by the hotel it was fantastic, he was brilliant .

Thank you so very much to Hotel Colombina for such a wonderful stay. This was my first time to Venice and I’m so glad I booked this lovely hotel. From booking and asking questions over email, to arranging transport from the airport and to the train station. The hotel is lovely inside and the breakfast was amazing. The hotel is located right on one of the canals very close to Saint Marks Square, just off the grand canal. The room overlooks the canal and is perfect for our short stay in Venice. Breakfast is the usual mix of fruit, cereals, pastries, and hot drinks in an elegant dining area. The staff are both friendly and welcoming.

Extremely well located hotel. The breakfast was included and it was very nice. Our room was huge for Venezia. Our only concern was that every time you open the door all the lights in the room gets On , so if your family is asleep and you want to go out early at morning, for sure you will wake them up. Also, the bathroom was very cold and hold the humidity all night from showering.
Besides this the hotel was great, the concierges were very good and they got us a water taxi back to the train station at half the price. Very nice !!

The location of the hotel is excellent and it’s on a beautiful canal. The jetty is really pretty to sit on and watch the gondolas.
The reception staff are really helpful but the breakfast staff were rushing about and appeared stressed all the time. We had to wait for tea, coffee and toast for ages. There isn’t enough room in the breakfast room to move about when it is busy. Also, the breakfast was limited and cold. There is no hot cooked breakfast unless you pay extra - but then you’ll probably have to wait ages for it! The rooms are clean and comfortable but don’t be fooled you’ll get a balcony - there’s probably only one room with a balcony in the hotel! We asked for a take away breakfast on the last day but it was full of dry biscuits without any butter or jam.
