Hotel was nice at entrance but once we had to walk to our room there were about 4 sets of 2 or 3 steps which made it cumbersome carrying luggage. There were 3 of us to a room so it was extremely crowded and had our luggage on the floor. The shower had a big shower head which covered the whole shower because it was very small with 2 small door connecting closing at a corner. Luckily the 3 of us are thin otherwise we would not have fit through the doors and even at that it was a little difficult.

We stayed three nights at the hotel. We booked the suite with whole canal view. When we arrived they gave us the wrong room with little canal view. They told us it’s available tomorrow not now. Next day the gave us the room we booked. Beautiful view with big balcony. So overall we had little problem but they managed to solve it for us .

This hotel is probably one of the better ones that you can book near the train station with a nice view of the grand canal. The rooms here are quite spacious and mine even came with a sitting room and two toilets, both with showers and one with a tub.

As it's right on the water, you should try their room with a balcony that opens up to the water. Rooms come with a safe and a closet with plenty of coat hangers.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I'm amazed at how the bed runner was matched to the wallpaper of my room.

Besides the lovely cleaning staff, the staff here are incredibly rude. In particular the men at the front desk. Bizarre to me that these people work in a service industry when quite clearly they highly dislike their jobs and people.

Their level of professionalism and service is appalling compared to most hotels, particularly since this hotel is fairly pricey for what it is. I asked to write a formal complaint and they offered me a blank piece of paper stating that I would write a letter and they would provide it to management, then they laughed at me as I walked away. As if I trust them to provide it to management.

Honestly booked this place as a nice night in Venice for my birthday and wish I hadn’t.

The location was just great, and the view from the window was just more than great. But the room itself was a terrible experience! We stayed for one night, the bathroom was very fresh and clean, so we could give it 10 points out of 10. The room atmosphere and ventilation were terrible. It was warm like hell even after adjusting the AC! Opening the window was not a good idea because the noises from the grand canal were unbelievable! The breakfast alternatives were poor and could give it 5 points out of 10. Anyhow, we could survive one night 😀
