Spent 4 nights at the Hyatt Centric and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.  The room was lovely and the location of the hotel was ideal.  The staff were all friendly and made us feel very welcome, I would especially like to mention Stan who provided drinks, entertainment and very many laughs in the bar.  I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Not impressed with this hotel at all, we stayed in the duplex room , upstairs is the master bed room and there is no bathroom or closet. The room is not cool , we had to open the  window to get some air in the room.  Our view from our room did not meet our expectations. The sofa had a stain on it. The Italian staff was exceptional.

First of all, the staff here are exceptional they make you feel welcomed and are extremely helpful. Gloria made us feel very special from checking in to checking out, from rooms upgrades and Champagne 🥂 upon arrival. Breakfast was all fresh and clean with lots of choices again all the staff very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are very nice big clean with a modern feel but still keeps its Heritage. I was extremely surprised they have Rituals amenities in the bathroom and shower, this was so refreshing from the cheap rubbish hotels usually offer. The hotel has a water a taxi stop right outside, which is extremely helpful if you want to visit main land Venice which is only a few stops away. They also offer transfers back to the airport for a small fee, which is much cheaper than getting your own private water taxi..

This hotel was one of the better hotel we stayed at during my 10 day trip in Italy.  We got a early check-in which was great when traveling between several hotel and just want to drop your stuff off to begin exploring the area.  I only stayed 1 night here, but when we returned from our glass blowing tour we noticed the room was a bit hot. We told concierge that our room was warm and if they could send someone to check it out as we were leaving to check out the remaining of Venice.  When we came back to hotel we enjoyed a night cap at the hotel bar and when to our room around 11pm at night.  The room was still hot and the AC was not running.   I could have opened a window or the balcony door, but I would have run the risk of letting bugs or mosquitoes into our room.  When I called the front desk again, all they could do is send a fan up.  The strange part was that the hallway leading to our room was cool and I could hear the AC fan running. Hotel would have had a better rating if they were able to do something to cool room.  I gave them more than 8 hours to address the problem while I was sightseeing.

I would do anything to get back the time we lost dealing with the Hyatt staff. In short, our room was 84 degrees (no exaggeration). There is no AC, the windows don’t open, and we were told so many different stories.
Their solution was to split the 3 of us into two rooms. Considering it was a family trip this was less than ideal. Even then I had no confidence in the hotel and wanted to be able to enjoy the rest of our stay where it was comfortable.
I will add that never in my 53 years have I left a hotel due to poor conditions and even worse customer service.
I have been a Hyatt member for 12 years and am appalled with the entire experience.
