amazing dinner. as a culinary arts student this was an incredible experience of high end cuisine. the service was immaculate, wine was delicious, we ordered the lobster ravioli, the veggie risotto, beef and pork. each one of the dishes delicious but the ravioli was outstanding. As a starter they offered us a soup which reminded me of my childhood. butter and bread were homemade, amazing. would recommend if you are looking for a memorable dinner experience!

I always wanted to try this restaurant and I did it for a dinner with my colleagues. Well the place exceeded our expectation. Very nice place (we sat outside), quiet with a beautiful atmosphere and very welcoming staff. The food was imply delicious, elaborated but not too much. Perfect quantities and top notch quality of prime materials. Every single dish was good and I can’t wait to go back again. Be sure to make a reservation because the place is very popular!

I needed to phone on the day to confirm my reservation was accepted, but I'm so pleased I did.
The welcome was warm, and our English language was easily accommodated by explanations of dishes and the wine list.
We found every dish perfectly cooked and presented and also received a number of complementary additions throughout the meal.
The restaurant was cozy and comfortable and left us with a great feel of a high-quality dining experience.

Did the tasting menu which I thought was different for Italy. I opted for the Sea tasting menu. One of the items had chorizo foam so I requested them to remove it. Server said no problem and they replaced it with another dish. It was 85 pp for about 9 courses. 2 types of appetizers, 2 small dishes, 2 main entrees, and 3 desserts. Nice ambiance. I thought the food was excellent!

We had dinner at Osteria de Santa Marina on a Friday night, our first day in Venice in mid-November. The restaurant was recommended by our Airbnb host, and we booked online. Although there was some confusion with the dates, everything worked out in the end, and we had a wonderful evening at this charming osteria.
We opted for the tasting menus: I chose the seafood menu, while my friend went for the "earth" version. The service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Each plate was carefully described to us, creating a relaxed atmosphere that made us feel at ease and allowed us to fully enjoy the delicious food.

The wine was an excellent companion to our meal. A recommendation from the restaurant’s extensive wine list, it was brought directly from their open cellar, adding a unique touch to the experience.

As for the food, every dish was a delightful surprise. My highlights were the cuttlefish and turbot fillet, both cooked to perfection with a beautiful balance of flavours.
From the earth menu, the standout dishes were the guinea fowl and the risotto; its subtle saffron notes providing the perfect balance to the richness of the tender duck breast.
To top it all off, the tiramisu was the perfect ending to the meal. It gave me such pleasure to crack through the delicate top layer and discover the creamy filling beneath, with its rich texture and a slight coffee aftertaste.
I definitely recommend Osteria de Santa Marina if you’re looking for a high-end dining experience with a warm, friendly ambience.
