We booked a reservation based on reviews and were not at all disappointed. Our meal was fantastic, the wine pairing was phenomenal (and had me telling my husband we need to buy a case while we’re in Verona next week) and the service was exceptional. A family-run business with charm, taste and knowledge.

Standing at a train station in the early morning hours we struck up a conversation with another couple and the topic of restaurants came up. They highly recommended Olive Nera and we quickly booked lunch. It was one of the best meals we had in our 16 days in Italy. The service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was very comfortable. And the food was divine! The stuffed zucchini flowers will be something I will remember for a very long time. The lasagna was spot on and the lamb chops were perfectly done. And the desserts were lovely too. If I lived in Venice this would be my favorite local spot.

If your ever in Venice this place is a must it was a wonderful experience to start our month tour of Italy. The food was fantastic the owner was an absolutely amazing lady. The zucchini, flowers and lamb were out of this world. My wife’s Bolognese lasagna was fantastic.

Typical Italian osteria offering high quality dishes, refined tastes and local specialties. Prices may seem a bit steep, but it is reflected in the superb ingredients and quality of traditional Italian cooking. Lovely service. Interior could use some attention, but who cares  when the food is delicious.
