If I could give six stars I would. The most beautiful, comfortable room, super clean, quiet, and very thoughtfully stocked. Staff was kind and friendly. Breakfast buffet was delicious, so many sweet and savoury options, great coffee, beautiful view looking into the gardens while enjoying the great food. The restaurant was great we had a wonderful meal. The hotel is beautiful, its nice to just spend time there. The location is great, it is so close to the bus/taxi stop so you don't have to pull a suitcase all around Venice. 20 min walk to any of the highlights makes it the perfect place to stay. I would love to go back.

Beautiful hotel with some of the cleanest rooms we've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. My brother, who traveled with us, said this was by far his favorite hotel in his life as it was very clean, and he's traveled quite a bit.
Delicious breakfast spread, and they even have staff going around to offer pastries to the guests as soon as they are baked. Location is convenient for coming and leaving Venice but a bit of a walk away from the tourist area (San Marco and Rialto Bridge), which is fine. If you understand the layout of Venice, you'll know you can't really have both convenience and near the tourist areas.
Overall when we come to Venice again, we'll only be staying here.

Amazing hotel rooms. Clean, modern and unique. Close to train station so easy to walk over (except for one big bridge, tricky with big bags but can pay for porter). Staff treated us like royalty! Thank you 😊

Hotel Papadopoli is conveniently located just 900m from the Venezia Santa Lucia Railway Station, making it a great choice for travelers. The property boasts premium furnishings throughout, exuding a grand and palatial ambiance that elevates the entire experience. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless, and the staff provided exceptional service throughout our stay.

However, one drawback was the size of the hotel and its rooms. Despite the premium price, the rooms felt quite compact, lacking the spaciousness one might expect from a property of this caliber.

I normally stay at another hotel in Venice, but I decided to try Hotel Papadopoli Venezia for the first time, and it was absolutely perfect for me. The location is excellent—close enough to the city center for convenience, yet tucked away from the crowds. I enjoyed a peaceful and beautiful 30-minute walk to San Marco every day, which was a delightful way to start the morning.

The room itself was stunning. I stayed in a corner room with a direct view over the canal, and the decor was both elegant and comfortable. The in-room espresso machine was a wonderful touch, as having proper coffee in the morning is essential for me. It was an amazing experience to sip my coffee while watching Venice come to life—sunshine, people strolling by, and boats gliding through the canal.

The staff at the hotel were outstanding. They were not only friendly and professional but went above and beyond to help me resolve a credit card issue when the water taxi driver refused to accept American Express, as initially agreed. Their assistance was much appreciated, especially since I had lost all my travel documents and credit cards at the airport. Despite this mishap, my weekend in Venice and my stay at the Hotel Papadopoli were truly beautiful and joyful.
