Always great to have green space in a city centre, and the park also features a host of wildlife, namely birds, which flock to the canal that runs through its entirety. There are lots of interesting sculptures that speak to important figures and causes in the community. The greenery is a little drab, the grass quite barren, but nice to walk around nonetheless.

B E A U T I F U L ! The best Central Park ever. Well maintained, clean, quiet, no smoking, no vandalism. I was enjoying walking in this park every morning & afternoon during my stay in Riga. I wish we have such a park in berlin too.

Beautiful park in the center of Riga that is divided into 2 by Pilsenās Kanāls (City Canal). You can enjoy the beautiful views or take a boat tour. It is also one of the best spots for wedding pictures, it is highly likely that you may encounter some brides and grooms while taking a stroll in the park.
