My husband and I happened to be in Latvia for our 10th wedding anniversary and it couldn't have been a better place to celebrate our milestone. The food, service and wine pairing were impeccable. We liked how unpretentious yet elegant and delicious the whole experience was. Chef used mostly local and in season products in unique and creative ways.

An absolutely fantastic evening, supreme food and combined with the premium wine pairing, it was just magical - the chefs and the somalier was so good and passionate in their guidance through the entire night.
Don be afraid of the price, because it is worth every single euro!!

Max and his team create a wonderful homey atmosphere. To make a long story short…food, drinks, service…all fantastic. Ended the night with a fairwell drink and engaged in a conversation with other guests. What a great time! We will definitely be back.

Unexpected unusual taste discovered in usual food. This place is to discover new tastes, not to get fed up. We have been to other Michelin restaurants and this one is the best: music, personnel, food - everything is thought out thoroughly.

I had an exceptional dinning experience at Max Cekot Kitchen!
The whole evening felt like I had been transported to a magical world of deliciousness for the mind and the palate.
First, the downstairs experience were several team members present different bouchées to you.  It is the perfect prep for what is awaiting upstairs.
Upstairs, I chose the standard tasting menu with wine pairing. The dishes were once again presented by different team members with a detailed explanation on the dish and its ingredients.
The sourdough and twist on pesto were otherworldly. Most of the dishes were vegetable focused and extremely well balanced in terms of flavor. The sommelier, Uldis, had impeccably selected wines to go with each dish and had a story to tell about all of them. Following the desserts, you got to tour the restaurant and cellars before finalising your experience.
Now back downstairs, you get a bit of processing time of the experience you just lived through, accompanied by coffee if you wish, before being on your merry way back home.
Truly, one of the best dinning experience of my life.
