Lovely Opera house with incredibly good value tickets (at least for anyone coming from London). Saw the ballet of Dracula. Worth seeing.

That was an impulse visit that was grand! We watched a ballet, and the orchestra was spectacular, the scene and atmosphere incredible and the dancers were absolutely amazing! The venue in itself is very beautiful and nicely decorated. It has a coat room and a bar with very delicious snacks.

Cozy opera with good sound, and good prices, the programme is interesting, Macbeth was amazing. Definitely recommend going when in Riga.

Quite beautiful and I strongly recommend to buy tickets to "Faust"! Though be careful with seats you choose. Depending on which side you are on second floor you may not be able to see the act sometimes.

The National Opera of Riga is an impressive building and an institution known for its elegant performances and high artistic standards. The productions that we attended was the ballet of the “three musketeers”. The theatre was full and we enjoyed it a lot.
