This place is a hidden gem! The menu, based on the owners personal travels, is eclectic, with a fantastic choice to suit all dietary needs. The staff front of house were professional, friendly and very well informed and were happy to make suggestions and recommendations.. AJ was particularly helpful, friendly and informative.

The playlist of music was fantastic and really helped to create a special atmosphere

The hardest part of the whole dining experience was choosing what to eat. Every item on the menu sounded delicious. We shared two starters and had a main course each, paired perfectly with a red wine, which was recommended by our waiter.

By the time we had finished our starter, we were already discussing booking in again, it was that good! In fact we ate here three times and every meal was as good as the last.

Reasonably priced menu and a great selection of wine and cocktails to choose from. Without doubt, the best meals we ate in Malta, and we would highly recommend.

This is an excellent restaurant. Not too formal, reasonably priced and everything we had was great. It even felt a little weird to get dishes so varied with such consistently high quality. I didn't even think it was possible to make baba ganoush this good. Coffee could have been better, though, but that's a minor downside that I'll overlook.

Nice restaurant with a very interesting ambience and great food. The black pork curry was delicious, so I recommend taking that. The portions are huge!

Upon entering Ayu, I was warmly welcomed and promptly shown to my table. The service was exceptional, with the waitstaff being incredibly helpful in recommending the perfect red wine to pair with my meal. The menu offered such a wide variety of tempting dishes that it was hard to choose. For starters, I opted for the chicken yakitori and lamb kibbeh, accompanied by a delicious beetroot spread with crispy bread. For the main course, I savored the cumin lamb noodles, which were full of flavor. To finish, I indulged in a salted caramel crème brûlée for dessert, paired with a glass of port. This Michelin guide restaurant left a fantastic impression, and I look forward to returning to explore more of their diverse menu.

Wonderful place! Cocktails were like small works of art. Food was delicious and staff was very pleasant. Portions were big, prices fair. Would come again.
