The place is nicely decorated; has a dose of elegance and tradition to it. Food is well thought of and prepared with good ingredients. Portions are generous with a number of side dishes. We arrived quite like but they were so kind to still seat us and serve dinner. Fully recommend it!

The food was quite special. Very subtle, delicious flavors. Delicious! The surroundings and atmosphere were very good. The atmosphere is relaxed but also very profesional. The reastaurant is a very nice building. All around 9/10. We'll be back for sure!

Een mooie reis door de velden, aangekomen bij Poortman, werden we zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door een van de gastdames. Een warm welkom. We hebben heerlijk het menu gegeten met 8 personen, met hier en en daar een kleine aanpassing, het kon allemaal, echt gastvrijheid. Relaxte sfeer, geen opdringerige wijnarrangementen maar gewoon lekker drinken wat je zelf wilt. Het eten was echt fantastisch , goed op smaak, prima porties, mooi gepresenteerd, kortom een reis waard door de velden !

A beautiful journey through the fields, when we arrived at Poortman, we were received very kindly by one of the hostesses. A warm welcome. We had a delicious meal from the menu with 8 people, with a small adjustment here and there, it was all possible, real hospitality. Relaxed atmosphere, no pushy wine arrangements, just drink what you want. The food was really fantastic, tasty, good portions, beautifully presented, in short, worth a trip through the fields!
