A magnificent yet humble dining experience for those looking for elegance and peace. From fresh local ingredients to charming knowledgeable service, Cèpes delivered exactly what we wanted for our birthday dinner.

No menu card, just a 5 course journey into subtle known flavours and ingredients that were paired perfectly together. The use of a umami focused fish dish with mushrooms was outstanding, followed by a venison main that was so fresh you could imagine the deer walking around the Veluwe only a few days prior. The presentation was beautiful, the wine was cheeky and my evening was wonderful.

I recommend this for anyone looking for a fine dining, zen experience in a calm, rustic and gezellig area of the Netherlands.

The food and the serice were good, nothing to complain - except that the waiter pointed the food on the plate very close with fingers while explaining. That is only thing that made us nervous. Otherwise the great restaurant. We would still like to go back.
