I tried Chicken Ramen from Deli Tiger at De Refter for today's lunch. Everything is good except the ramen is overpriced for its size. The noodles are countable, what is even less is the number of chicken meat. And I ordered the "large" bowl. But I guess everything here is expensive.

Other than that, the place is nice, clean and cozy. I wouldn't mind spending some time with friends and eating here again. Just next time I can find something more affordable and student-friendly, at least I hope so.

This is an amazing canteen!
I’ve been to here last year, the experience is just soso. They only had a few variety of choices.
However after renovation in 2019 summer, there are much more alternatives for students.
No matter you are a Dutch or an international student, you can find something suitable for you.
There is a cafe which offers tea, coffee or alcoholic drinks.
If you are a vegetarian, you can find some green food.
You can also choose Chinese food (wok), Italian food (pizza) or American food (burger) here.

De Refter is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. It is a unique building that has been converted into living spaces and houses a warm community. It is a special place and if you have the opportunity to the explore this space, I would highly recommend it.

my boyfriend had to puke after he ate a Burger from the Refter. And half of his potato wedges looked not good anymore. Iam also persuaded they could offer food for so many people for a cheaper price. It seems like they make profit with all students who dont really have many alternatives close to the Refter.
