Maybe my expectations were too high. I wasn't really impressed with the 5 course surprise menu and wines coming with it. It has an open kitchen that they already started cleaning when we has 2 more courses to go 🤔

Wij hebben hier voor het eerst gegeten op 1e kerstdag. Wij kenden dit restaurant nog niet maar zijn erg blij met onze keuze.
Heerlijk gegeten en ook de service was tip top.
Wij gaan hier zeker terugkomen.

We ate here for the first time on Christmas Day. We had not heard of this restaurant before, but we are very happy with our choice.

Geweldige ervaring bij Pouwe!

Een gezellige en moderne zaak met een fijne, ongedwongen ambiance. Het team in de keuken weet echt uit te pakken met verrassende gerechten die niet alleen prachtig gepresenteerd zijn, maar ook perfect van smaak. Wij kozen het Bib Gourmand menu, dat ons heeft verrast met verschillende hoofdgerechten, allemaal goed op smaak en op de juiste temperatuur.

De pairing met de wijnen was uitstekend, en de wijnen zelf waren zeker onderscheidend, iets wat je niet vaak tegenkomt op dit niveau. Als kers op de taart is de kaaswagen echt een pronkstuk! De bediening was kundig, vriendelijk, persoonlijk, en toch correct.

A cozy and modern business with a nice, casual ambiance. The team in the kitchen really knows how to deliver surprising dishes that are not only beautifully presented, but also taste perfect. We chose the Bib Gourmand menu, which surprised us with various main courses, all well-seasoned and at the right temperature.

The pairing with the wines was excellent, and the wines themselves were certainly distinctive, something you don't often encounter at this level. The icing on the cake is that the cheese cart is truly a showpiece! The service was knowledgeable, friendly, personal, and yet correct.
