The location is perfect for those who want to be right in the center. Accordingly, the area is active and at night (especially on weekends) there is quite a lot going on in the streets. However, the noise didn't bother us, as we were out and about until late. The hotel and the room are great. Everything very clean, very friendly staff, everything you need available. The only negative is that the windows are not tight. At night you can hear the tram and the party people on the streets and during the day the heat comes in through the windows. In summer this is certainly a problem. When we were there in april the heat/cold in the room was not a problem. Highly recommended.

We stayed here last October. The rooms were so bright and lovely, and the woman at the desk was so helpful in planning out our few days in Amsterdam. The neighbourhood is ideally located for walking and we didn't take a taxi our entire trip. Lots of great restaurants and attractions within 10-20 minutes by foot. We would definitely come back (and the adorable cat was an added bonus!) The hotel is also phenomenal value compared to other spots in Amsterdam. Very good price for what you get!

A nice and cozy hotel with a great location. The rooms are a bit compact and don’t have air conditioning, but they are clean and comfortable. The staff is kind and helpful, and the breakfast is good. There is always self-service coffee and tea available. Plus, there is a tram stop right in front of the hotel.

Many have written some great details about how lovely this place is. I second them. I stayed in a basement single room.  The room was quiet and suitable, not a squeeze for one. I slept amazing. The breakfast spread is AWESOME.. .healthy, many options, fresh.  The staff are so kind and helpful and the location is just a block or so from the first main stop on the 397 from the airport.  It's a wonderful location.  Also the grocery store is a block away, with great grab and go food.  No complaints.  Wish I could have stayed longer.

The room was super clean, although the toilet and the stairs going downstairs were a bit too small and narrow for me. Everything else was perfect—my stay was amazing. The shared facilities were always spotless, and the host/receptionists were incredibly kind and helpful. I love this hotel and will definitely consider rebooking if I visit Amsterdam again! :)
