This was a great stay. Even though we were only there for two nights, the staff were very friendly. The happy hour from 4-5 was a great way to enjoy a drink and meet other people from across the world. The rooms tend to be on the smaller side but that was really not an issue as you're right in the middle of everything so who really stays in the room except to sleep? Linens were of good quality and everything seemed to work well. Loved the decor as well. Only issue we seemed to have was the cast function on the TV did not seem to work. Was not a huge thing as there are connectors as well but something the hotel should look in to. If you want to be right near Amsterdam Central train station this is a terrific place.

We had a highly disappointing experience with Kimpton DeWitt Hotel. During our stay, some personal belongings went missing after a room change. We immediately informed the front desk, and the Guest Service Manager assured us that the matter would be investigated, and if the items were not found, we would be compensated. However, despite multiple follow-ups, there was no proactive communication from the hotel.

After months of waiting and persistent follow-ups, the hotel has now refused to honor their promise of a refund. This level of service is unacceptable from a reputed establishment. Guests trust hotels with their belongings, and the least one expects is accountability and professionalism when issues arise. Sadly, our experience was the opposite.

We would not recommend staying here if you value trust and customer service.

What a lovely hotel! The staff could not do enough for you, the room was lovely, spacious and well decked out. The reception area, cafe, dinning room and bar are all fantastic and once again the staff are brilliant. Love social hour when you get a free drink and snack to chill with after a long day. This hotel is perfect for getting out about with location right next to the central station and with a tram stop just outside. Will definitely be staying here again!

It’s our 3rd stay with Kimpton De Witt. Location is fantastic as it’s close to the train station and also in city Centre. Rooms are decorated with lots of attention to detail. I love the plants everywhere around the hotel that you can also take to your room as a buddy. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic and Hugh our waiter always makes you smile with his good mood and positive attitude.

Great location, close to the train station. Amazing service (thank you to Bettina for a very warm welcome at the concierge!!). The best dog friendly hotel I've stayed at so far, (we've stayed in multiple across North America and Europe, and by far this was the best dog friendly hotel I've ever been to). Dog bowls and bed upon arrival, dogs are allowed at all restaurants and all staff are very friendly 🤗 there was even a dog room service menu (I've only seen one other hotel that does it, but this one was much more reasonably priced).  10/10 would recommend and stay again!
