This museum is so interesting! There is so much and interesting information to read. There are a lot of great pieces in the museum with the information informative but not too lengthy. We spent around 3 1/2 hours here which we got around 90% of the museum. The Rembrandt area is the most interesting or the 1950s + which was quite interesting.

We spent 5 hours in the museum today. This was my second visit. There are so many amazing exhibits and easy to find some favourite art. I liked finding places to sit and appreciate the art. It was busy today with school holidays locally and the usual tourist numbers. Allow for several hours, use the app and plan your route in advance.

Serious competition for the Louvre! From the way you can easily purchase your ticket and get in the museum, to the friendly staff, the spaciousness, the architecture, the way the incredible collections are arranged throughout the building - it has been a very pleasant visit that brought me lots of inspiration. A very beautiful museum. Magnificent, exciting. With a lot of artwork that is amazing. You can spend a whole day here - get incredible impressions from viewing paintings and exhibits. The visiting card of the museum is Rembrandt's painting The Night Watch, which has a separate hall of the museum.
Visiting the Rijksmuseum you will find works of any era and for any taste, from medieval works to modern works of art. I want to come back here again and again.
There is a cafe for rest and a snack, there is a changing room. If you came with a bouquet of flowers, you can leave it in the dressing room. Very elegant service from polite and friendly staff. There is an audio guide. Booklets with a plan of expositions. Impressions and atmosphere are fascinating. Fantastic museum .

I definitely recommend buying tickets ahead of time. We did the day before and were able to walk right in. There was a line but the line moved very quickly.
This museum had so much history and of course, it was in such a beautiful building as well. The map given to you as you enter was designed in such a great and organized way of displaying the pieces. I wont give too much away but they had the Asian Bronze collection while we were here (shown in the video), and that was so fascinating. If you’re visiting Amsterdam, I definitely recommend visiting this museum as soon as you can!
They also have a cafe inside with delicious food and drinks, which of course we have to stop and grab for a little break.
