Service was decent, but the bartenders didn’t provide great recommendations, which was disappointing given the bar’s craft cocktail focus. If you’re going for the ambiance, it’s worth a visit, but the drinks don’t quite justify the premium.

I had an amazing experience at Sonora! The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant, making it the perfect spot for a great night out. The cocktail menu was impressive, featuring both classic and creative options, and the snack selection perfectly complemented the drinks.⭐️

A special shoutout to our bartender, Sumbat! His knowledge of cocktail history was truly impressive, and he crafted some of the best drinks we’ve ever had. His passion and attention to detail made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place – we’ll definitely be back! 🤩

Best view in Amsterdam with personalized service and great drinks, the staff is very helpful when it comes to choosing beverages and food. The cocktail menu on its own is very interestingly put together with a nod to the Latin American culture and a flavor map that helps you navigate the flavors.
Overall a great experience!🫶

Great atmosphere, loved the ambiance. Wide variety of authentic cocktails, and the bartenders really know what they’re doing. Really loved Paloma Rubio (if you like a smokey cocktail). Our server was also great. Want to try the snacks next time! :)

A Rooftop Gem in Amsterdam

Sonora Bar, is a hidden addition to Amsterdam's rooftop scene,  and is really a must-visit!
Perched on the 24th floor of the nhow Amsterdam RAI hotel, this spot offers amazing views of the city.

Prices:
Normal prices for a cocktail bar. (around €50 per person)

Terrace:
The terrace is accessible year-round—even in colder months, you can step outside and enjoy the views.

Service:
Every guest is welcomed with water and snacks as a thoughtful touch.
The staff is attentive, friendly, and determined to make your evening special.

Note:
Any cocktail can be made alcohol-free, which I love as I am alcohol free.

Reservation are not available, but the waitlist operates on a first-come, first-served basis. If there is a queue, you can relax at the SELVA restaurant, or downstairs in the living of the hotel.
