Truly a unique experience where Majel guided us through the canals and introduced to a side to Amsterdam that we never would have seen or known about. It was an honor to potentially be the last 5 hour day tour of the season.

We had a trully wonderful sunset tour with Wetland Safaris. Majel was super helpful - I booked the wrong date - and an excellent guide. Watergang was easy to get to - we rode our bikes to Metro Nord where Majel met us for a short bus ride to her house, where we were offered drinks and given a briefing. The canoeing was easy and relaxed and involved travelling through the  picturesque village and the surrounding area. We stopped for a wonderful picnic whcih was beautifully catered for by Majel. Would highly recommend!

What an amazing interesting experience! A great paddle through a culturescape as our very knowledgeable guide called it. We learned lots about ecology, the transience of human existence living on the boundaries of oceans, the impact of agriculture, history, and all of this interspersed with blissful moments of quiet paddling surrounded by nothing but water, pastures, reeds and blue skies. We will definitely be back for the full five hour tour when it’s back on the agenda.

We had a lot of fun on the safari. The information during the tour was very informative and interesting. All our questions were answered and we even got apple juice and some waffles. Thank you for the fun morning!

One of the best experiences I had while visiting Amsterdam! Majel is a wonderful host/guide and is so knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of the area we canoed through. The sights were breathtaking and I can't imagine a better way to explore this area than by canoe. Majel makes you feel right at home and she also has some very cute cats and ducks that you might see before/after the canoeing!
I'd highly recommend the sunset canoe tour for the sights (and also being able to avoid the midday sun).
