This is one of my favorite spots in the Pijp area. It’s a charming place where I regularly go to have coffee, eat, or grab a drink. The tables are quite close together, so it’s not ideal for large groups as there isn’t a lot of seating space. It’s more comfortable for couples or a small group of friends. There’s a nice bar, an open kitchen, and good music. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop by!

We sat at the beautiful bar and enjoyed incredible drinks. The bartenders were very friendly and even let us have a sample of the espresso martini when I mentioned how good it looked. We recommended it to others visiting Amsterdam since we enjoyed it so much.

The food and location were great. Good drinks and a good gluten-free bread as an option for one of us. The food was tasty and the wine was nice.
However though the service weren’t the best. When we arrived we just got a snack menu, not informed if there would be a dinner menu coming up or not. After some snacks we got a dinner menu but got confused when the waitress said the kitchen were closing just a few minutes later (even though it was only 8 o’clock and we had a dinner reservation at 7). The staff weren’t too friendly or welcoming.
The main dishes portions were very small which also wasn’t anything we got informed about. We left the place still hungry.

The price for a main course is way too much for what you get. Ordered the gnocchi, was mostly mushrooms and maybe 8 gnocchi. This was priced at 29 euro! Totally not worth it. Ordered bread and was given cold, burned focaccia. A year ago I would have said this is one of the more consistently good restaurants around. No longer.
