Had a late Sunday dinner at Bussia and was lucky to still get served at 21:00, despite Google showing incorrect opening times. While I was limited to just one course, I still managed to sample dishes from the à la carte menu—the gnocchi, risotto, and sliced tenderloin were all very good, well-executed, and full of flavor.

The wine list is simple, but the selection by the glass felt a little lacking in depth. Service was a bit underwhelming, which took away from the overall experience.

That said, the food was excellent, and I’d return—just maybe at an earlier hour for a more relaxed experience.

I am just in love with this place, without a doubt my favourite Italian restaurant in Amsterdam. The food is amazing, the wine is amazing, and not unimportant, the atmosphere is very nice. Every time we have been here, the personnel has been great, friendly and just overall happy.

Really friendly staff helped us with ordering food and choosing wine. The vibes is really nice, nice fine dining experience. The sour dough bread is amazing!

Booked this place on a recommendation of a friend, turned out to be a great recommendation. You will need reservations- they were booked pretty solid when I was scheduling this dinner, so be aware! We ordered the chefs tasting menu with the accompanying wine selections. We spent the next 3 hours on a culinary journey of epic proportions. This menu varies by seasonality so I can’t tell you that you’ll have the same as I have pictured, but I will tell you to trust the process and be adventurous. You’ll be happy you did. All of the wines pared by our server were excellent. If you want fine dining in Amsterdam, this should be on your radar.
