Adorable cat art and real cats inside. There is quite a lot of cat art in different media and cultures, and would be very interesting for a cat art enthusiast. The garden was not open due to the weather unfortunately, but you can see quite a lot from the distance. There was also a gift shop with many cat souvenirs.

It was a fun experience, especially if you are a cat lover.  It's fun also for vintage advertisement buffs as well as architecture nerds as the building is very beautiful.  We only got to catch a quick glimpse of one of the actual live cats but we still had a great time.
They also have a nice gift shop with plenty of feline themed wares.

The cat art collection museum converted from a classical mansion has a retro and nostalgic atmosphere that makes people feel very relaxed. There is a cat at the entrance ticket counter and a cat lying on the heating outlet of the exhibition hall on the second floor. The cats in the store are more attractive than the cat art pieces on display. Tourists are more enthusiastic about taking photos of real cats than collectibles in the museum.

Really beautiful museum in Amsterdam.
A must see if you love cats!
Only downside is that the museum is a bit small for the price but it's full of really beautiful statues, paintings and posters of cats and a couple of actual cats that were friendly and extremely cute. We also liked the gift shop, we bought a couple of things that were really well made and beautiful (cat horoscope puzzle and cat tarots).

It was a cute little visit, but it really only took me 20/30 minutes, and I read every single tag in the place. Unless you truly enjoy cat art, I wouldn't recommend. There were two cats in the entire entire house, who weren’t really into interacting with the people and somehow the house smelled overwhelmingly like cat pee. I’m a huge cat lover, and I have three cats in my two bedroom condo, so I genuinely don’t understand how that place smelled like cat pee.
