Really good buttered chicken.

Naan bread very tasty.

Well spoken English by the staff and happy to help decide on meal choices. Very good food. Small inside and has a “off the beaten track” feel.

Lumbini is a nice restaurant with an Indian/Nepalese menu.

The decoration of the restaurant could be better in my opinion.
Paper tablecloths and paper napkins look a bit cheap for a nice and atmospheric restaurant.

The service is good and attentive.
Only something probably went wrong with the spiciness.
My girlfriend had asked for extra extra spicy, and I for medium.
When served it was the other way around, the dishes tasted good, but for my girlfriend too mild, she had to add extra spiciness.
We will definitely come back, because I think that if the dishes are right with spiciness next time, I can still give 5 stars.

Came across Lumbini when we were looking for a restaurant in the Rambrantplein area.
Always been a big lover of Indian food, and it had been a long time since I had one this good
Place was busy and full, but we were lucky enough to get a table after a small wait. I would recommend booking and we for next time we visit
Ok, to the food.... So do good.
Starters Tasty crisp onion bhaji - one of the best I have had. Also, Vegi Samoa- so good
Main - one of the best lamb Madras I have had, and I have had a lot. The lamb was soft and was cooked perfectly. Loads of heat on the Madras, but with losing any of the flavours
Butter chicken - Again, soft pieces of chicken in a rich butter sauce. Full of flaover

Very nice restaurant. Bit overpriced however according to the location it’s still manageable. They have some Nepali food as well. And nice behaviour from everyone one.

Best Indian restaurant in the Netherlands! The basics such, as the butter chicken and tikka masala, are really incredible and the room is quiet but vibrant. Would recommend 100% ! They also have big portions so no worries to not have enough !!
