We visited Momo during our visit in Amsterdam.
Having experienced different Asian fusion cuisine in the recent weeks, after looking at the menu we were looking forward to the meal.
Upon arrival we were welcomed by the host and offered space at the bar for pre dinner drinks.
Cocktails were amazing, music played by the DJ and general vibe was awesome.
But it went downhill from there.
At the table food arrived before drinks.
The having first bite of salmon tacos I couldn’t hide a disappointment. It was so bland.
Kind crab tacos were slightly better.
Mono roll, only wasabi seemed good. Tuna tataki and sea bass ceviche, dressings were so overpowering we couldn’t taste the fish.
Tuna Tatar with caviar, was just ok.
Beef skewers in OX dressing we put it down after first bite.
Each dish is amazingly presented, but I don’t think the ingredients (fish and meat) are the highest quality or fresh, as you can’t taste them.
The dishes are not balanced with all the flavour elements.

We only stopped in for a daytime snack.  The tuna maki rolls were very good and the highlight was the real chopped wasabi on the side.  I have only had fake wasabi made of horseradish before.  The real thing was sharp and fresh but didn't linger on the tongue.  Green tempura beans were probably one of the best examples of dish I have ever eaten.  Very light, lacy batter.  Only the tuna tartar was unexciting.

High end Asian Fusion.  We had the Momo roll, pad thai and beef skewers and they were all fantastic.
