Have to say it is such a horrible experience; the lady that attended me was quite amateurish and clearly had little understanding of the brand. Our conversation started with her warning that the 149 line will soon be discontinued, and that it was quite “ignorant” of me to call this type as 149. Really ridiculous. And then she kept confusing 146 with 149; I told her that I only wanted 149 but she showed me three 146 without even realising they are 146. Gosh. And then she said that they only had the calligraphic nib and I asked then which one will the nib correspond to (bb, fm, ofm and such); apparently she also had no idea but eventually she did manage to present me with one of the medium nib 149. And most ridiculously, they don’t accept Alipay. As a flagship store in Amsterdam, not accepting alternative payment methods is really hilarious. In a word, very disappointing experience; better go to their store in Paris or simply buy from their reseller in Amsterdam. The one near Rokin is a much more reliable store. Will not visit again.

I have never being treated so bad in a Montblanc boutique as I was there. I was asking for a repair but the person in charge was rude and unhelpful from the beginning and with excuses he wanted me and my wife out of there, we felt so uncomfortable... I will change from this premium brand to other... it is supposed that I not just payed for a great quality products but excellent customer service... after pandemic things have changed, it looks like many premium brands are not worth it anymore ...

Apparently the local ownership has changed. Something is off with the sales team which looks  tense or tired all the time.

Former  personnel (who could also advise on products than only sell) absolutely missed.

You cannot pay with Amex (although the pos machine accepts it but they don’t) which is absurd for a high end brand like this.

For places like this, it is either one or five stars, hence one.

I really hope owner manager reads this , because it is little a Tabatha situation here.

A lovely lady made my purchase a real experience which was what I wanted.  She was so kind and took her time and was not pushy at all. I went in to browse but decide to buy a pen as the experience was just as important to me as the pen itself.  Would thoroughly recommend purchasing from this shop.

The Mont Blanc store in Amsterdam gets 5 stars because their customer service is spot on. Very good, always friendly. Every time there is something wrong with my fountain pen, they will have it repaired and I get it back as if it was new. Just spot on
