Mixed feelings about our recent visit. While I had high expectations based on their social media presence, the reality unfortunately fell short in several key areas.

Let's start with the positives: The staff deserve recognition for their exceptional friendliness and attentive service. Their warm demeanor and genuine effort to make guests feel welcome stood out as the highlight of our visit.

However, there were significant issues that impacted our dining experience:

The most concerning aspect was being served with visibly dirty cutlery, which immediately raised hygiene concerns. This is a basic element of restaurant service that should never be overlooked.

We experienced notably long waiting periods.

Despite the restaurant's prominent social media presence and carefully curated photos, the actual dishes were underwhelming. The execution fell short of expectations, with the food being decidedly average in both presentation and taste. There's a noticeable disconnect between the restaurant's online presence and the actual dining experience. The carefully curated photos on their public pages paint a different picture from what diners actually encounter.

After reading other reviews, it seems experiences here tend to be polarized – diners either have an outstanding experience or share similar concerns to ours. While I appreciate the friendly service, the fundamental issues with cleanliness and food quality make it difficult to recommend at current prices.

A couple of suggestions for improvement:
- implement stricter quality control for kitchen cleanliness and utensils
- review kitchen workflow to address timing issues
- focus on consistency in food preparation and presentation
- better align marketing materials with the actual dining experience

Although it’s known as a brunch place, Oeuf is open until midnight and has some wine selection so we thought we would give it a try for a glass of wine. That was clearly a bad choice. Not sure why is this place so overrated?

The service was horrible, we asked if they can recommend some orange wine to which the waiter literally just said ‘I don’t know’.

Eventually we asked for some olives and after the waiter forgotten about our order for 30m we asked again and got an unopened CAN of olives with anchovies and toothpicks??

The cherry on the top was the mouse casually running around the restaurant 😶‍🌫️

Fun French music and delicious food! We highly recommend the shakshuka (AMAZING) and avocado toast. Plus the fries with truffle cheese were surprisingly a huge hit. Can’t wait to come back.

We waited for almost one hour. They didn't even bring our drinks while we were waiting. All of the forks were dirty. Toilet was smelling so bad. And at the end of waiting, this is the omelette I get. I don't think this is worth the price. I thought it was a truffle cheese omelette but it was a cheese omelette with mayo as a side. Unbelievable.
